The Munugode by-election was won by Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy of the TRS by a margin of more than 10,000 votes. Following the victory on Sunday, TRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) held a press conference. He expressed gratitude to Munugode's people for helping the TRS candidate win. He claimed that Munugodu residents value their development and self-respect. Minister KTR hailed Koonamneni Sambasiva Rao of the CPI, Tammineni Veerabhadram of the CPM, and other left-wing leaders for accompanying them on their political journey in the Munugode constituency.
