Sangareddy: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is gaining the attention of people with his Bharat Jodo Yatra and interacting with people from all sections. On the 57th day of his yatra, Rahul Gandhi started from Ganesh temple, Rudraram at 6 am today and took a break at Hanuman Nagar, Sangareddy at 10 am. Rahul Gandhi donned as Pothuraju, a key figure in Telangana's Bonalu festival and whipped himself with a heavy rope. Several cultural activities were performed under the leadership of Sangareddy MLA Jaggareddy to welcome Rahul Gandhi. During the yatra, MLA Jaggareddy whipped himself by taking a rope from Pothuraju and later Rahul Gandhi also joined him and whipped himself.
