TRS MLAs poaching case:Key twist over 'farm house secrets' after a audio call leak

An audio recording of a telephone call between the primary accused and a TRS MLA surfaced on Friday, adding another twist to the 'MLAs poaching' case.

The MLA who alerted the Cyberabad police about the effort to purchase him and three other MLAs, culminating in the arrest of three alleged BJP agents, was reportedly Pilot Rohit Reddy. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) released the tape of their claimed discussion.

The discussion reportedly took place before the accused met four TRS MLAs at a farmhouse outside of Hyderabad on Wednesday. The second accused, Nanda Kumar alias Nandu, joined the chat as well.

The police reportedly detained three people during a raid on a farmhouse in Moinabad, close to Hyderabad, on Wednesday night are Ramachandra Bharati of Delhi, Nanda Kumar of Hyderabad, and Simhayaji Swamy.

The incident caused political tremors in the state before the November 3 by-election for the Munugode Assembly seat because the TRS claimed a plot by the BJP to overthrow its administration.

However, the saffron party refuted the accusations.
