Viral: Ex-IAS officer's daughter goes on rampage, destroys diya stalls in Lucknow
Social media users are sharing a video of a lady smashing roadside diya vendors' stalls in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. She was angry that over the holiday season, neighborhood sellers had set up shop in front of her home. The incident took place in Patrakarpuram in Gomtinagar.
It has since been revealed that the woman is a doctor by profession and is the daughter of former IAS officer Shankar Lal.
Shop owners and neighbourhood sellers contended that they have been erecting the stalls each year and have also complained to the police.
