Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Uttarakhand for two days. He has been to the well-known Kedarnath temple in the Rudraprayag region. PM Modi has performed special pujas at the kedarnath shrine while dressed in the locals' traditional garb. His outfit had the swastika emblem sewn on it. Later, he proceeded to see Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya's mausoleum. PM Modi will review the various development projects while he is in Uttarakhand for two days. Additionally, PM Modi will lay the foundation for construction projects worth Rs 3,400 crore. The 9.7-km ropeway project from Gaurikund to Kedarnath will be officially opened by Mr. Modi. Modi took a special jet earlier in the day to reach Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport. PM Modi was welcomed by Governor Gurmit Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand.
