The leaders of the ruling and opposition parties are engaged in an accusing verbal duel as Telangana politics heated up ahead of the Munugode By-polls. Munugode By-polls is the election that reveals distinctions between self respect and financial strength, according to Telangana Municipal and Administration Minister KTR. According to the TRS working president, the election is being decided by the financial power of the BJP's Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and the strength of the Munugode people. In addition, he claimed Rajgopal Reddy ignored his constituency as a result of purported contracts.
