The recently launched Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express suffered minor damage after a minor collision with a herd of buffaloes on Thursday morning in Gujarat, according to officials. The incident happened between the Gairatpur and Vatva stations. A railroad spokeswoman claimed that the impact damaged the engine's front part. Three to four buffaloes unexpectedly appeared on the Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat route, breaking the FRP nose (fiber-reinforced plastic). The Railways is attempting to persuade the residents in the area not to leave cattle close to the track. On September 30, the semi-high-speed train was formally launched off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
