On October 5, the day of the Dasara festival, TRS chief and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) will officially launch the national party Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). In the upcoming general elections, BRS is expected to contest in 100 parliamentary constituencies across India. In the two Telugu states, a number of former MLAs and ministers from the Congress, TDP, and BJP are apparently joining the newly constituted National party that Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao established.
