Russia is enlisting 300,000 new soldiers and putting them through rigorous training. The Russian military has made videos of the incident available. Russia's military preparations were made in response to the Ukrainian army taking back some of the territory it had previously controlled, notably the city of Lehman. Russia and the portions of Ukraine it occupies are both hosting military exercises. The juvenile recruits were then outfitted with infantry kneepads, uniforms, helmets, and body armour of the highest calibre. They are all receiving training in the use of firearms, combat tanks, and other weapons.
