According to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, 39 months have seen the implementation of numerous projects aimed at empowering women. Cash totaling 4 949 crores are being deposited in the accounts of 26,39000 people, according to the chief minister who on Friday at Kuppam in the Chittoor district released the third tranche of funds under the YSR Cheyutha, the scheme meant to provide opportunities to earn a living to the poor women belonging to SC, ST, BC, and Minorities. The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and Kuppam MLA, N Chandrababu Naidu, came under fire from CM YS Jagan for allegedly doing nothing for his own constituency. Kuppam residents have been promised by CM YS Jagan that the Kuppam branch canal will be completed and water will be available in another six months.
