According to the interim report that luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz gave to the Palghar police on the fatal accident involving businessman and former Tata Sons Chairman Cyrus Mistry, the brakes were applied four seconds prior to the vehicle colliding with the road divider. Mercedes-Benz has provided the police with a sensational report. Prior to the collision, the car was reportedly travelling at a speed of 100 kph, but when it struck the bridge divider, it was only travelling at 89 kph. They were travelling from Gujarat to Mumbai when the disaster happened on the Surya river bridge.
