Tens of thousands of people have flocked to the streets to take part in the Ganesh idol immersion at Tank Bund, Hyderabad and drone cameras have flown over them. The deployment of choppers and drones to monitor all events around the Tank Bund, Hussain Sagar, and Necklace premises in order to maintain track of the immersion activities has reportedly been made by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Hyderabad (MCGH) and city police. According to the Police, the drones will be useful at immersion spots and immersion routes. In addition to drone cameras, thousands of police officers have been stationed throughout Hyderabad during the immersion process.
