Hyderabad: The famous Balapur Ganesh Laddu auction has significance in Hyderabad's history and devotees make a beeline to capture the auction event which creates a record every year. The Balapur Laddu auction will take place on the final day of immersion of Lord Ganesh. The auction of Balapur Ganesh Laddu begins in 1994 and a devotee bagged it for Rs 450, from then the tradition is continuing. This year the auction of Balapur laddu started with a price of Rs 1,11,116 and finally, Lakshma Reddy bagged the famous Balapur Laddu for Rs 24.60 lakh and which is Rs 5.70 lakh more than the previous year's auction.
