The first intranasal Covid vaccine in India, created by Bharat Biotech, received DCGI approval on Tuesday for primary vaccination against the virus for those over the age of 18. However, according to Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the DCGI vaccination has been approved for limited usage among adults in emergency situations. Dr. Mandaviya praised the accomplishment on Twitter, writing that it is a 'Big Boost to India's Fight Against COVID-19.' We will beat COVID-19 with the science-driven strategy and Sabka Prayas, added Mandaviya. A clinical experiment was previously carried out by Bharat Biotech on 4000 volunteers, and neither side effects nor anything concerning were discovered.
