Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman comments on Liquor Scam allegations on MLC Kavitha

On the second day of her tour in Telangana on Friday as part of the ruling BJP's Parliament Pravas Yojana, the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while reacting to the media questions on allegations of alleged liquor scam involving TRS MLC K Kavitha, she asked them to better question her.

The Union Finance Minister visited PDS locations in Telangana's Kamareddy district to understand more about the expenses the federal and state governments spend per kilogramme of rice distributed under the PDS.

The union minister visited the Zaheerabad Lok Sabha constituency for three days starting on Thursday.
