Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) flew to Patna on Wednesday to meet with Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar and leader of the JD(U), and Tejashwi Yadav, in the position of Deputy Chief Minister. KCR will give financial support to the families of the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in the Galwan valley during his visit to Bihar. Each family of a soldier who died will receive a cheque for Rs. 10 lakh, and each family of a deceased migrant worker would receive a cheque for Rs. 5 lakh, from KCR. The politicians are reportedly convening the conference as the first step toward bringing the opposition together for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, CM KCR's presence in Bihar is being viewed as a significant political development.
