Videos and posts in support of the Finnish prime minister Sanna Marin have been trending on social media. Women-dominated social media users have shared recordings of themselves imitating Marin to show their support. Internet users supported the Finnish prime minister and defended her freedom to attend a private event with friends. Hillary Clinton, a past contender for president of the United States, also supported the Finnish prime minister. Hillary tweeted her support for Sanna Marin, who received criticism over a party video. While still the Secretary of State, Clinton shared a photo of herself dancing at a packed bar in Colombia in 2012 with the caption, 'Keep dancing, Sanna Marin.' The Prime Minister of Finland spoke up right away and thanked Hillary Clinton. Last week, Marin sobbed as she described the popular video.
