KTR strong counter to JP Nadda; asks intellectuals to verify facts

Telangana was created in 2014 with a surplus budget, and as of today, the State maintains the same, according to K Taraka Rama Rao, Minister of IT and Industries in Telangana.

BJP National President JP Nadda, who asserted in a public meeting in Hanamkonda recently that the Telangana government led by Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has been diverting funds released by the Center towards Telangana people, was singled out by the Minister KTR during an event at the launch of competitive examination study material prepared by Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad.

JP Nadda has received retaliation from the TRS Working President, who claims that their denial of his allegation was based on a lack of evidence and advised him to look at Telangana's budget instead. KTR claimed Telangana makes up 2.5 percent of the nation's total population. Out of India's 140 crore people, just 4 crore live in Telangana, the Minister stated.

According to KTR, Telangana contributes 5% of the nation's GDP. Instead of making unfounded comments, KTR urged the intellectuals to check the facts by viewing Telangana's budget.

When asked if the funds were properly utilized, KTR said that in just eight years, they had completed a number of worthwhile projects that had been put off for 60 years.
