Amaravati JAC leaders announced to undertake the Maha Padayatra for the 2nd time
Leaders of the Amaravati JAC have announced that they will participate in the Maha Padayatra for a second time in order to notify the state's citizens that the YSRCP administration in power is refusing to implement the High Court's decision in the Amaravati case. An extended level meeting conducted at Thullur resulted in the official decision to start the Padayatra.
On September 12, when the Amaravati movement would have been in existence for 1,000 days, the JAC leaders claim that they will begin a padayatra. The political parties who have given their movement support to the leaders are being consulted.
Farmers in the villages of Amaravati have been protesting the state government's plan to establish three capitals.
