Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is my friend, says Manickam Tagore while faulting media's imagination
Telangana affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore on Wednesday said that party chief Sonia Gandhi, along with her son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Gandhi were working to advance the party in Telangana.
In response to a query regarding his friendship with MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and any unfavourable rumours, Tagore stated that he is one of his close friends and that he frequently visits his home for a biryani. He has criticised some media outlets for using their imaginations when they write.
In response to a query, AICC general secretary Tagore stated that the Congress was independent of anyone and that it valued group leadership. The Congress has lakhs of its members, he added.
