One of departing British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's most ardent supporters, who has been outspoken in his criticism of Rishi Sunak, came under fire on Sunday for retweeting a "dangerous and nasty" image of the former Chancellor. On her social media page, Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries reposted a tweet that featured Johnson dressed as Julius Caesar and Sunak stabbing him in the back, alluding to his assassin Brutus. In the past, Dorries has criticised Sunak's extravagant fashion choices as evidence that he is out of touch with the British voters and accused him of orchestrating a bloody takeover of his former boss.
