The Rajya Sabha suspended 19 opposition members on Tuesday for interfering with business for the remainder of the week. The Trinamool Congress, the DMK, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), the CPI, and the TRS are among the political parties whose members have been suspended from the upper house for demonstrating in the chamber's well. B Lingaiah Yadav, D Damodar Rao, and V Ravi Chandra are three of the TRS lawmakers who have been suspended from the legislature. V. Muraleedharan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, made the motion to suspend the MPs in accordance with Rule 256. The proposal was accepted by Deputy Chairman Harivansh, and the Rajya Sabha agreed by voice vote.
