Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, has retaliated against the Telangana government for failing to provide rations to the underprivileged as required by the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. According to allegations made by Piyush Goyal in the Rajya Sabha, the Telangana state government failed to provide the ration allotted to the underprivileged under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, which was launched during Covid 19 by the honourable Prime Minister. According to the Minister, the Telangana government stopped implementing this programme in the month of April. He added that the Telangana administration had delivered the ration to the underprivileged during the month of June despite great difficulty and pressure from the Central government. The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, according to BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao, has not been properly implemented by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
