We've seen brides and grooms arrive at wedding locations in posh vehicles, horse-drawn carriages, or on elephants, but a young woman in Andhra Pradesh's Konaseema region risked floodwaters to get married. The bride's family chose to approach the groom by boats while all roads remained submerged, and the couple recently got married amidst flood conditions in the Konaseema area of Andhra Pradesh. Teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) stationed nearby assisted in making the trip possible. The bride and her family could be seen in the video crossing the floodwaters in a boat while they were all decked out in wedding finery.
