On July 10, in a show of goodwill, the Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers exchanged sweets along the Attari-Wagah border in honour of Eid al-Adha. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the exchange of sweets to be suspended for the past two years. Jasbir Singh, the BSF Commandant, stated, "At the Joint Check Post (JCP) Attari Border, BSF presented treats to Pakistan Rangers in honour of Eid ul-Adha. This handshake between two border patrolling personnel is customary. This represents our tradition, goodwill, and peace as well." Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "Happy Eid! Congratulations on Eid ul-Adha. May this celebration serve as an inspiration for us to work more to promote the idea of societal wealth and well-being for the benefit of all people." The holy event known as the "festival of sacrifice" is called Eid ul-Adha or Bakra Eid, and it is commemorated on July 10 this year. It takes place on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th
