After a slew of resignations from his ministries, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his resignation. There are rumours that the UK Prime Minister favours Penny Mordaunt as well. Rishi Sunak is thought to be a candidate to become the future prime minister of the UK. He would become the 78th British Prime Minister and the first man of Indian origin to do so. The 42-year-old had a successful corporate career before getting into politics. He is the in-law of NR Narayana and Sudha Murthy, prominent Infosys couple.
