Hyderabad: Form July 1, the Centre is going to ban the single-use plastic ban across the nation. The marketers are asking their customers to carry their own bags while shopping. The Centre is going to ban the manufacturing, stocking, distribution, stocking, sale and use of the single use plastic products. The imposed a ban on the following items including the balloon sticks, cigarette packs, cutlery items including plates, cups, glasses, forks, spoons, knives, trays, carbuds, sweet boxes, candy and ice cream sticks, polystyrene for decoration, invitation cards and PVC banners measuring under 100 microns. A fine will be imposed on those who violate the rules and up to Rs 1 lakh and jail up to five years or both.
