East Godavari: In a tragic incident, three persons were killed and three injured severely in a road accident. The incident took place in Hukumpet, East Godavari. According to the reports, six persons, residents of Dolweshwaram celebrated a friend's birthday on Tuesday and the incident took place while returning to their village. It is said that the speeding car lost control and rammed into an electric pole. Two persons identified as Jayadev Ganesh and Venkatesh were killed on the spot and one died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police registered a case and an investigation is undergoing.
