With burnt trains and young men sloganeering and protesting in the streets, India's staggering unemployment crisis makes itself felt once again. Hundreds of young people rushed Secunderabad railway station on Friday morning to protest the Centre's 'Agnipath' programme, causing damage to trains and businesses. Damaged visuals may be seen in the railway station. Protesters chanted 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan' and 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and urged that the government abolish the recently announced policy and keep the current recruitment procedure. The youth were enraged because the government had cancelled the recruitment exam for which they had studied for the past three to four years. They stated that their protest would continue until the new system is repealed by the Centre.
