The Union Cabinet has approved a recruitment strategy for Indian youngsters to serve in the Armed Forces, according to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The programme is known as 'Agnipath,' and the youth who are chosen will be known as 'Agniveers.' According to Rajnath Singh, the scheme is a game-changing effort that will allow Indian youth to serve in the armed forces. According to the Defence Minister, the plan would enhance job prospects. It will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young people to serve their country and contribute to national development. This is a significant defence policy reform launched by the government to herald in a new era in the three services' Human Resource policies. Candidates between the ages of 17 and 21 are eligible to apply for the military. Selected candidates will receive six months of training before being placed in the main stream.
