Alluri: In a tragic incident, five people were killed and seven injured severely in a road accident in Alluri Sitarama Raju district in the early hours of Monday. According to the reports, a private travel bus carrying 60 passengers from Vijayawada to Chinnapally turned turtle near Edugurallapalli in Chinturu. It is learnt that the incident took place when the driver lost control over the bus. Sources said that three passengers died on the spot and two others died while undergoing treatment in the hospital at Bhadrachalam. Police registered a case and an investigation is going on.
