Hayathnagar Police have charged Telangana BJP State President Bandi Sanjay with uttering insulting remarks about chief minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao and referring to him as a boozer, drinker, and cheater. Along with him, another BJP politician, Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, was charged with disrespecting Chief Minister KCR by staging a skit. The aforementioned political developments occurred after the TRS social media wing filed a police report saying that BJP leaders have been making false claims and accusations against the Telangana government's welfare programmes. TRS has also stated that they want to incite racial animosity and unrest.
