It's great news for credit card holders. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has permitted UPI to be linked to a credit card. This capability, however, will initially be available solely for RuPay Credit Cards. UPI now supports transactions by connecting savings and current accounts via debit cards. According to the RBI Governor, the process of integrating credit cards issued by the National Payments Corporation of India-NPCI with the UPI payment system has begun. He has stated that this chance will be available following system changes. Shaktikant Das noted that the additional amenities will make consumer transactions easier. In India, the UPI payment system has grown in importance. UPI has 26 crore users and 5 crore merchants.
