British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been reportedly battling to retain his position. His own Conservative Party is prepared to depose him. Graham Brady, a Conservative Party spokesman, claimed he had received letters from public representatives demanding for a no-confidence vote against him. If he loses the no-confidence vote among the 359 members in the lower house of parliament, the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom will be elected and also as Leader of the Conservative Party. Otherwise, he will be continued for another year. Boris Johnson is facing a number of accusations, including organising receptions in government buildings during Covid.
