Another atrocity against a minor girl occurred in the Kakinada district. The girl was studying and staying in a hostel. According to reports, on a fine day, the accused Vijayakumar lied to the girl, took her to his room, and gave her some pills, claiming they were corona pills. The girl believed the correspondent and swallowed the pills, which rendered her asleep. The correspondent physically abused the girl, and the horrible crime went on for a few days. The incident was discovered far too late. Police discovered that he had r*ped a juvenile girl who was staying at the hostel on multiple occasions. Doctors determined that the girl fell pregnant with the accused and is currently suffering from a miscarriage. A hospital is treating the victim. Following a complaint from her parents, police filed a case against the accused under the POCSO Act. Police launched an investigation in order to apprehend the accused.
