A 17-year-old girl is allegedly gang r*ped within the Jubilee Hills police station's jurisdiction. While the police have yet to make any arrests, it has been reported that one of the five culprits is the son of a political leader. In a more recent update, CCTV footage from outside the Jubilee Hills pub area shows the victim engaging with the accused boys. On the other side, police are questioning minor 8-9 boys who have been identified as suspects in the crime. The car in which the assault occurred has apparently been seized. Because the case is exceedingly sensitive, with a minor victim and presumably minor accused, NCPCR Chief Priyanks Kanoongo has revealed his thoughts and expected proceedings. Based on the girl's father's allegation, the police earlier filed a case of outraging modesty. Following her comprehensive statement, a r*pe case was filed under the POCSO Act.
