Navjot Singh Sidhu, a former cricketer turned politician, surrendered last week after the Supreme Court sentenced him to one year in prison in a 1988 road rage case that ended in the death of a person. But Sidhu is already working less than a week after being transferred to the center. According to reports, Sidhu works as a clerk. Sidhu will be trained for three months without pay, according to jail rules. Following that, he will be classed as an unskilled, semi-skilled, or skilled prisoner, with earnings ranging from Rs 40 to Rs 90 based on his earned status.
