Putin survived assassination attempt 2 months ago, claims Ukrainian intelligence Chief
Russian President Vladimir Putin survived an assassination attempt, according to the chief of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, Major General Kyrylo Budanov. The admission comes amid escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine, as well as rumours about Putin's health. Caucasus officials, on the other hand, said the attack on Putin had failed. According to Budanov, an assassination attempt on Putin was made shortly after Russia's attack on Ukraine.
However, he underlined that the attack was not directly related to the Ukraine conflict.
Putin said in 2017 that he was targeted five times. On the other hand, there have already been several reports about Putin's health. He recently undergone surgery, according to several media sites.
