The two Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will vie for investments from worldwide companies at the 52nd World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting, which will be held in Davos, Switzerland, from May 22 to 26. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has been representing his state at the Davos summit. While Telangana will be represented by state industries and information technology minister KT Rama Rao (KTR), both have arrived in Davos and have been welcomed by Indian embassy authorities. Both political figures' addresses will be the highlight for Telugu people in both states.
Previously, Minister KTR encouraged NRIs in London to help Telangana with investment and highlighted how the Telangana government has taken numerous development efforts over the last eight years. Minister KTR mentioned in the 'Meet and Greet' programme how NRIs assisted in the Telangana movement and expressed delight that NRIs were with them.
CM Jagan, on the other hand, has arrived in Davos and will begin participating in the World Economic Forum today. In the presence of over 2200 industrialists, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister will deliver a key note at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
