Hyderabad, May 21: Addressing a gathering after releasing a book on late Telugu film lyricist and poet Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry here, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said that movies should impart knowledge while providing entertainment to cinema goers. “Directors should stop using double meaning dialogues instead dialogues should be meaningful,” he mentioned. People listening to Naidu’s speech clapped when he suggested that producers, directors and actors should watch their films with their families prior to release. He advised directors not to encourage violence and obscenity in movies. TANA president Garikipati Narasimha Rao, director Trivikram Srinivas and family members of Sirivennela were present.
