With controversy swirling around a popular prank video starring actor Vishwak Sen, his new film Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam (AVAK) opened in theatres on Friday. The film is produced by B Bapineedu and Sudheer Edara, directed by Vidya Sagar Chinta, and written by Ravi Kiran Kola. The female leads are played by Rukshar Dhillon and Ritika Nayak. The story revolves around the inter-caste marriage of a Telangana man, Arjun Kumar Allam (Vishwak Sen), and a Godavari girl, Pasupuleti Madhavi (Rukshar Dhillon) The film's producers have released an emotional trailer in which the character of Vishwak Sen emphasises the need for more female children. He aspired to be the father of a half-dozen female children.
