Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao hinted on Wednesday that a national party is likely to be formed to implement an alternative national agenda. Addressing the TRS plenary in Hyderabad, KCR, as the Chief Minister is generally known, stated that the TRS will play a role in influencing national politics and effecting change. There is a need for an alternative political party that can lead India forward by utilising its full potential, the Chief Minister stated. KCR stated that if Telangana and Hyderabad make a start for the improvement of the country, and if the new agenda emanates from here, the state will be proud.
