Prashant Kishore, a leading election strategist, has stunned the Congress. He declined Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's invitation to join the party. The reason for his refusal to join the Congress appears to be the recent agreement between TRS and I-PAC over the Telangana Legislative Assembly elections. The Congress party has praised PK's ideas for the 2024 general election. In a tweet in response to the developments, Congress General Secretary Randeep Surjewala stated that while Prashanth Kishor declined to join the Congress, the party appreciates his efforts and suggestions. On the other side, election strategist Prashant Kishor claimed on Twitter that the Congress party required more than him to tackle the deep-rooted structural problems through transformative reforms.
