Former Team India captain MS Dhoni has bought two thousand chicks of the protein-rich Kadak Nath chicken from Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. According to a district collector, Dhoni has given the orders to a co-operative group. He said that two thousand chicks were transported in a vehicle to Dhoni's farm in Ranchi. According to him, anyone may purchase on online platform. Kadak Nath chicken meat and egg rate are higher than other poultry meats due to its high nutritious content. According to sources, following a court struggle with Chhattisgarh, the black Kadaknath chicken meat from MP's Jhabua district was granted Geographical Indication status in 2018.
