Pawan Kalyan, the chief of the Jana Sena Party, stated that he would not allow the anti-incumbency vote to divide in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, adding that he said so after careful consideration. In a press conference, the actor-turned-politician stated unequivocally that the YSRCP will not be in power in 2024. He has chastised the Police cadre for defending the ruling party's interests. He predicted that the YSRCP will be defeated in the next election. While criticising the current party's governance, Pawan Kalyan claimed that the YSRCP has no moral right to ask for votes.
