Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Union Minister Kishan Reddy lashed out at Telangana Rashtra Samiti leaders over the paddy procurement issue. Minister Kishan Reddy questioned why the paddy procurement issue came to light only after the Huzurabad by-elections. He further stated that the use of boiled rice decreasing for the last few years. He added that the Centre spent Rs 26,600 crores for paddy and rice procurement in the last year. Kishan Reddy said that there is no demand for boiled rice and asserted that the Centre will purchase the paddy as per the agreement.
