According to reports, the CRDA is preparing to register plots for farmers in the aftermath of the recent Andhra Pradesh High Court decision in Amaravati, the state capital. The registration of allocated farmer plots in Amravati has become a challenging undertaking. Farmers are wondering how the C.R.D.A, which has assigned plots of land taken through land acquisition in some regions, can register them without compensating the landowners. Letters are being sent to the C.R.D.A. to assuage their concerns. Farmers have expressed similar reservations about allotted plots of assigned lands and endowment lands. The aforementioned scenario occurred after the registration procedure came to a halt with the pronouncement of three capitals and no progress in the case of Amravati.
