Pakistan Navy’s Key Maneuvers: Air-to-Air Live Firing Exercises Underway
The Pakistan Navy has commenced major military maneuvers involving air-to-air live firing exercises, which will span two days starting today. According to official statements, these exercises are being conducted in the Arabian Sea waters near the ports of Karachi and Gwadar.

As part of the drills, live missile firing operations will be carried out, targeting aerial threats from aircraft to aircraft. These operations are intended to test the combat readiness of the Pakistan Navy and to assess the performance of its advanced weapons systems.

In light of the ongoing maneuvers, restrictions have been imposed on civilian maritime and aerial traffic in designated zones. Pakistani authorities have issued advance warnings to commercial vessels and aircraft, advising them to steer clear of the exercise areas near Karachi and Gwadar ports. These restrictions will remain in force throughout the two-day duration of the drills.

The exercises also include missile launches from warships to evaluate their strike capabilities. Additionally, significant attention is being given to the operational readiness and functionality of submarines, which play a crucial role in the Pakistan Navy’s strategic arsenal.

Security officials in Pakistan have stated that the maneuvers aim to review the coordination between the Navy and the Air Force and to test the effectiveness of modern weapons systems integrated across both services.
