Shock to KCR: Zaheerabad MP Patil Resigns from BRS and Joins BJP

The BRS party received another shock as an MP switched allegiance. Following the departure of Nagar Kurnool MP Ramulu from BRS to BJP yesterday, today Zaheerabad MP BB Patil resigned from the BRS party. Later in the evening in Delhi, in the presence of BJP National President JP Nadda, Patil was seen joining the BJP, apparently after being assured of a ticket in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
BRS leader KCR was sent the resignation letter by MP BB Patil on Friday. Patil declared his resignation from the party and its primary membership, thanking the party for giving him the opportunity to serve as MP from Zaheerabad twice. He shared his resignation letter on his official social media accounts. BB Patil was elected from Zaheerabad in 2014 and 2019 as a BRS candidate.
