The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary, Nara Lokesh, is set to embark on a 4000-km-long journey in the form of a pada yatra, titled "Yuva Galam," on Friday. The purpose of the journey is to stand in solidarity with those in the state who have been subjected to injustice and to rebuild the state.

The pada yatra will begin in Kuppam on Friday and will continue uninterrupted for 400 days. On Wednesday, Lokesh performed poojas with his family members and sought blessings from his parents, in-laws, and close relatives. The TDP national president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, emotionally hugged his son Lokesh. Nara Lokesh affectionately hugged his son, Devansh, and reassured him that he will be in regular video contact throughout the journey.

Lokesh also visited the NTR Ghat to pay tribute to his grandfather, the late NTR, who founded the TDP. He then left for Shamshabad airport to reach Kadapa.

Upon his arrival in Kadapa, Lokesh was greeted with a warm reception by TDP activists. He performed special poojas at the temple of Lord Venkateswara and visited Pedda Darga, inquiring about its importance.
